OUR COLUMBUS SCHOOL INVOLVEMENT
Colerain Elementary School
Our club's commitment to supporting youth with severe orthopedic challenges dates back to 1920. For many years, we have organized a Christmas party at Colerain Elementary School, welcoming both physically challenged students and their peers from the neighborhood mainstream. This marks our 103rd consecutive year of this service project, where we allocate funds from our Foundation to assist teachers in purchasing presents for the students.
Annually, Rotarians make financial contributions to numerous service projects, with funds allocated from our Foundation to aid teachers in buying presents for students. Each year, Santa generously provides a gift for every child, bringing immense joy as they receive both the gifts and the chance to see Santa.
Windsor STEM Academy
Rotarians have provided school supplies to the Windsor students and classrooms for 4 years. This allows students to start the year with the supplies they need. It also means that teachers do not have to use their own money to provide what the kids need.
The Columbus Rotary bought a clothes washer and dryer for the school. Most families of the school do not own a washer and dryer. Many do not have the means to get a load of washing to a laundromat or the money to pay for washing there. The machines are heavily used and very much appreciated.
Each winter, Rotarians have provided comfort bags to the families. The contents are a variety of items such as ChapStick, body cream, warm socks and Kleenex. The families were very excited to receive them. Additionally, several Rotarians tutor 2nd graders in reading skills.

Pivot Point Scholarship
The mission of Columbus Rotary in providing our Pivot Point Scholarship is to support positive and enduring change in the lives of lifelong learners. Pivot Point Scholarship is intended to support learners who are on a journey to reinvent their lives or make a career change.
Our Pivot Point Scholarships range from $2,500 for full-time students to $1,250 for part- time students, with opportunities to support students seeking other certificate/license programs, as well.
Career Path Awards Program
Supporting Graduating Seniors. Advancing Columbus’ Economy
The mission of the Columbus Rotary Career Path Awards (CPA) Program is to recognize and provide career mentoring to graduating seniors within the Columbus City School district who have demonstrated excellence in taking advantage of the opportunities offered to prepare for skilled careers which do not require a four-year college degree.
Corporate sponsorship is a critical component for the success of the Career Path Awards Program. Sponsors, alongside Columbus Rotarians, participate in a condensed career counselling session that assists students in exploring their post- high school career and training options.
